Awareness Through Movement ®
Developed by Moshe Feldenkrais (1904-1984), Awareness Through Movement (ATM®) lessons are verbally guided group classes that support and improve our overall physicality.
Through gentle movement and directed attention, an ATM® is designed to open oneself to the richness of sensations and self-organization in the moment so that change is possible. Setting goals and judgment aside, ATM® is a movement-based tool for self-inquiry which will open up somatic intelligence and agency.
Doria is at the end of year 2 of a 4-year Feldenkrais Program® in Berkeley with Elizabeth Beringer, and has been given permission by Elizabeth and the Feldenkrais Guild of North America to teach Awareness Through Movement® lessons as a teacher in training.
