Intermediate Yoga is taught by our experienced yoga instructor Lori Cable. It offers more challenge with its flow and poses than Gentle Yoga. It still includes a variety of movements; reclining, twisting, standing, sitting, slight inverting, and reaching; to improve posture, balance, and strength. There is also the perfect mix of meditation with a focus on breathing to bring a sense of mental calmness and relaxation.
Modifications on body alignment are given to accommodate all fitness levels. However, if you're new to yoga, we suggest you try Gentle Yoga first. Its slower pace is perfect for learning and mastering the poses. The tools we recommend for class are: a yoga mat or using a carpeted floor, 2 yoga blocks or 2 sturdy text books, a yoga strap or an old neck tie.
