Standing Strong is the perfect first step in your fitness journey. 

It's specially designed for anyone who is ready to begin a fitness program but doesn't know where to start.  Even if you're -
  • worried about your balance or have already fallen
  • not comfortable with strength training techniques 
  • afraid of getting injured or re-injured
  • you're achy and stiff
This program comfortably guides you through the 7-essential moves which are the basic movements for all exercises. You'll learn proper form and why these movements are so important to improving your overall strength and balance.

Think of this program as a blueprint to functional aging. Which means you'll not only get stronger but you'll learn everything you need to stay strong and prevent a devastating fall. 

The program is designed to be progressive. The activities done in each session give you the skills and knowledge to progress comfortably to the next week. Regular attendance guarantees improvement in your overall strength and balance.  And as your confidence returns, and it will, you'll be motivated to do more of the activities that enrich your life.

Standing Strong meets twice a week for 12-weeks over Zoom and each session is 45 minutes in length. The group size is limited to no more than 10 participants to ensure you'll receive the personalized attention you need.

You'll receive everything you need to get started:
  • A FREE set of 3 custom cut TheraBandâ„¢ professional non-latex resistance bands. The perfect way to strengthen muscles while protecting the joints.
  • A fully illustrated PDF sent to your email each week of the information we'll cover. Which includes access to this information, even after you complete the program.
  • 18 hours+ of expert instruction from an experienced personal trainer.
  • The support of a wonderful like-minded fitness community.
All you'll need for the program:
At least a 6-foot x 6-foot area that is uncluttered.
A sturdy chair you can comfortably move to be used for exercises, stability and balance training.
A tablet or computer that has online Zoom access. 
Shoes that support your whole foot or non-slip socks if you prefer not to wear shoes.
Comfortable clothes that allow for movement.
